Hi! I’m Piper. I’m a 1.5-year-old mixed breed pup and you can adopt me through Pasado’s Safe Haven. I may be blind, but I have a lot of love to give!
I went all the way from a high-intake shelter in Texas to looking for my forever home in Washington. I might be blind, but I can easily give hugs and kisses to everyone I come across.
I’d say I love playing with active people in the yard so I can show my awesome zoomie skills.
I’m currently on my clicker training and mat training, and fun brain puzzles keep me entertained. Would you want to keep me and play with me?
I’m a big, goofy girl so I get along with big dogs too.
The type of home I’m looking for:
- I’d be really happy if my furparents are experienced handlers of large dogs and can take care of a blind goofball like me.
- A household with people 13+ older, without other pets would be best for me.
- I love playing outdoors, so a home with a fully-fenced yard is my ideal home.
- Interactive games are cool. I like it when someone challenges me to solve brain puzzles.
#WhynotMEpets is a statewide campaign that gives cats and dogs needing more care and attention a greater chance of finding a home as quickly as possible. Its mission focuses on animals that have been homeless for two months or longer; are elderly; have behavior or medical needs; aren’t thriving in the shelter environment; or make up a large percentage of the shelter population, such as bully breeds. These are the animals asking “Why not me?” To learn more, visit pawsitivealliance.org/whynotmepets.
